Wildflower Raw Long Island Honey

12.0 oz
$23.50

Every jar of our Wildflower Raw Honey is a liquid map of Long Island’s seasonal landscape. Hand-harvested in small batches rather than one large end-of-season extraction, this honey remains as close to the hive as possible. Because Wild Blossom Apiaries bees  forage freely on diverse local blooms—from spring fruit trees to late-summer wildflowers—each harvest captures a unique moment in time, reflecting changes in color, aroma, and depth of flavor.

Alexandra Forrisi’s Story

Alexandra Forrisi’s beekeeping journey began as a thoughtful gift that evolved into a lifelong passion. At Wild Blossom Apiaries, beekeeping remains a profound responsibility and a privilege. Guided by the curiosity of her three young boys, Alexandra has dedicated herself to intentional stewardship and education. This journey ensures that every colony remains vibrant and healthy, providing one of nature’s sweetest and most honest gifts to the world.

Wild Blossom Apiaries Bees:

The bees of Wild Blossom Apiaries are the heart of a thriving ecosystem. Every colony is managed with surgical precision and deep respect for the natural world. Through the dedicated stewardship of Alexandra Forrisi and her family, these bees flourish in an environment built on education and care. The result is a synchronization of nature’s brilliance and sustainable practice, ensuring that the legacy of these incredible pollinators remains alive for generations to come.

Process:

Alexandra Forrisi’s hives are primarily located in Smithtown, benefiting from over 1,170 acres of protected state and county parkland. She follows organic beekeeping principles, avoiding synthetic chemical treatments and ultra-filtration. By harvesting in small batches as the honey ripens in the hive, she preserves the distinct floral character of each season.
